It took a while, but we finally made it to Crystalden. We met a wolfpack who had both an Alpha and Omega leader. I was stunned we found Nera and the others. Angel had wondered who I was, but when she saw my red eyes, she yelled daddy. She ran to hug me. I couldn’t help but cry.. Seems the others were glad I was back to normal. But…I doubt I was normal. That evening as we celebrated the reunion, something had bugged me. Crystalden wasn’t hit by the war. 5 years and this place was still peaceful. Aera, the Alpha female leader, asked me about Buraki and his machines. I told her what I know since I was able to get to that mechanical beast. I took notice that Gana had flew off. Maybe she need to be alone for a bit, I thought to myself. I also remember what that fairy told me. I felt depressed.
After my conversation with Aera my head started to hurt. I thought it was just a headache, but suddenly I heard a loud, squeaky high pitch sound. It was excruciatingly painful. I wanted to scratch my ears out. It was sheer torture. Then the sound stopped. As I came to I notice only the dragons and humans were affected, but not the wolves. I wondered why. As I try to collect myself I noticed Flame and Gana were flying off. I was about to give chase, but I remember what the fairy told me. I hoped Gana will be okay.
A few hours had passed and Gana and Flame didn’t return. Naturally, I grew worried, but I know Gana can take care of herself. I asked Spirit, who was still up, if he could look after Angel while I was out. I flew off to a cliff a few miles away. I needed to think. As I look at the night sky I wondered. Then I quickly realize Buraki’s Dreadnaught. If the flying fortress was a setup, then Buraki’s core should still be at the Dreadnaught. We could put an end to the war right there. I quickly got up and was about to fly off when I got zapped by electricity, knocking me down. As I was losing consciousness I remember hearing someone. I couldn’t make it out, but it was like they were saying…Laiken. I blacked out…
