The enemy of my enemy...

Voice: “Wake up you overgrown lizard.” Ow, my head hurted. I woke up to find myself in a prison. My arms, legs, neck, and tail were all shackled with the same energy binders Lagon used on me a few weeks back. Pyron: “Where am I?” Voice: “You’re my prisoner.” Pyron: “Prisoner?” I looked to the entrance and saw a disfigured man. Laiken: “The name’s Laiken. I lead the Dragon Slayers.” Pyron: “So…you’re the Laiken who killed my folks and sister.” Laiken: “No. I killed your dad. My other slayers killed your mom and sister as well as many of your kind. And tomorrow, your death will be the deathblow to all of the dragon race. (My death will be the deathblow? What did he mean by that?) Slayer, watch after him. Get to know your enemy. For tomorrow, his crimson blood will be yours.” Slayer: “Yes sir.” Laiken walks off. Pyron: “Great. I’m a prisoner of a deranged lunatic.” Slayer: “A deranged and powerful lunatic. Most of us hate him.” Pyron: “Huh?” Slayer: “Hmph…surprised a Dark Draco such as yourself doesn’t remember the human he nearly killed.” Pyron: “Huh? (I looked closer at the slayer, and was shocked) It’s you!” Slayer: “Keep your voice down. Laiken mustn‘t know I‘m an informant for the resistance.” Pyron: “But wait, you just said it in front of the guards.” Slayer: “Don’t worry. These 2 are allies.” I was confused.

The slayer and I spoke and I was very intrigued. After I gravely wounded him and fled, Angel had healed him up with her healing powers. Slayer, as he’s known as, saw her and saw her innocence. He was so moved he struck a deal with Gana. He would be they’re informant on the Dragon Slayers dealing in exchange for his freedom. Gana took the risk and trusted Slayer. He kept his word. I also tried to apologize to him for what I did, but he said no apologies necessary. He forgave me. Pyron: “So…tomorrow we fight to the death. Sorry if I kill you.” Slayer: “The feeling’s mutual, but there will be much more pain and suffering if Laiken isn’t stop.” Pyron: “What do you mean?” Slayer: “When news of you leaving the Dark Dracos hit the land, it spread like wildfire. Laiken wanted us to capture you so you’ll die at a slayer’s hands, and our weapons drenched in your blood.” Pyron: Ok…why does it sound like I’m important?” Slayer: “Because Buraki wants you alive. Every bad guy knows that Buraki’s a powerful tyrant, and getting you before he does makes you a very wanted reptile. Sure, Buraki can reward bounty hunters, but those who can kill you will weaken Buraki’s stranglehold on the world. (Terrific. The fairy was right. Buraki wants me alive and everyone else dead) Right now, I need help taken Laiken down. You see, most of the slayers know that Buraki is the real threat. Taking out the dragons was one thing, but then he targeted humans with magic, knowing humans and dragons are major threats to him, which now shows dragons, humans, all organic life is a threat to him. If Laiken can be removed from his position, I can take over and steer the slayers in the right direction. (Something told me Slayer had a plan and needs my help to pull it off. If Gana trusted him, so can I. I nodded) I know how we can do it.” He told me his plan…

The next day I was brought into a coliseum. I smelled blood…lots of it. Dragons, humans, and countless other creatures. The grounds here were drenched in blood. Laiken: “Welcome fellow slayers. We have a very important death match planned. Over on the right is the powerful Pyron the dragon, and to your left is one of our top slayers who we all call Slayer. I release our guest from his shackles.” With the flick of a finger Laiken got the shackles off of me. Laiken: “And don’t think about leaving. The coliseum is well protected by a shield. So, start the fight.” So the fight starts. I ran towards Slayer while he was firing arrows. I manage to dodge them and leaped for him, but he was able to dodge. He drew his sword and tried to slice and dice me, but I kept my distance. Laiken: “As you can see folks, even the mighty Pyron is keeping his distance from the blade of a slayer. As we all know, a dragon’s weak point is they’re soft underbelly.” Figures he knew about my kinds weak point, just like slayer said. (Slayer: “Laiken is the most foulest of all humans. After killing dragons he studies them. He goes as far as using his power to reanimate them just to experiment on them. From dissection to injections. We seen his horror and not many of us can combat him. But, his power fails in comparison to yours. You see, this metal can pierce a dragon‘s hide. However, Laiken doesn‘t know that this metal won‘t kill someone who‘s powerless. I tested it myself on a non-magic and there were no fatal effects.. To make this work Pyron, you must let me take your power.”) I was unsure, but I trusted him. Slayer was able to absorb another’s power, but his power only works if the one who gives him they’re power is willing to give it to him.

After the match continued, I had pinned down Slayer. Making sure to stay angry, I roared as I looked around and spotted 2 guards at the entrance gate, it was almost time. I headed for Slayer’s neck, but he pierces my chest with an arrow he hidden. It hurted a bit, then he struck me in the heart with his blade. I roared and collapsed. Slayer: “Pyron…has been vanquished.” Laiken: “Good job Slayer. Now take him to my lab. I like to study his anatomy.” Slayer: “Not so fast Laiken. I defeated Pyron, and now I challenge you to a duel, for the leadership of the Dragon Slayers.” Laiken: “What?! I shall not accept your challenge.” Slayer: “What’s the matter Laiken? Aare you weak? You saw me kill a powerful foe, so you fear me?” Laiken: “I fear no one! *He leaps from his thrown and draws his sword* You will rule the day you face me. En garde!” So they fought as steel meets steel. Slayer kept Laiken distracted as I concealed a magic binder. They got closer. Laiken: “You’re a good swordsman, but the kid games are done. Time to die. *He lifts his arm up and electricity was being shown. I them got him on the neck with the binder* What?!” Pyron: “Gotcha. Now Slayer!” Slayer grabbed Laiken and took his power. Laiken: “Noooooooooooooooo!!!!”

Laiken woke up a few moments later. Laiken: “What, what did you do to me?!” Slayer: “Your reign of terror is over Laiken. I made you what you hated…a powerless human.” Laiken: “Grrr…I’ll make you pay. Both you and your pet lizard.” Slayer: “Fellow slayers. Laiken’s reign is over.” The crowd cheers. I couldn’t believe at the reaction. Minutes later Laiken was imprisoned. Slayer gave me back my power, but we made sure to take the sword out of my chest before the power transfer. Pyron: “What will you do now?” Slayer: “There’s a resistance camp a few hours from here. I’m taking a small band of slayers with me to tell them we’re joining them. Though they may not believe us, so I ask if you can come with me.” Pyron: “Uh…sure.” We soon left. Laiken: “Grrr…Slayer…I’ll get even with you. We’re not done yet…”

Crystalden

It took a while, but we finally made it to Crystalden. We met a wolfpack who had both an Alpha and Omega leader. I was stunned we found Nera and the others. Angel had wondered who I was, but when she saw my red eyes, she yelled daddy. She ran to hug me. I couldn’t help but cry.. Seems the others were glad I was back to normal. But…I doubt I was normal. That evening as we celebrated the reunion, something had bugged me. Crystalden wasn’t hit by the war. 5 years and this place was still peaceful. Aera, the Alpha female leader, asked me about Buraki and his machines. I told her what I know since I was able to get to that mechanical beast. I took notice that Gana had flew off. Maybe she need to be alone for a bit, I thought to myself. I also remember what that fairy told me. I felt depressed.

After my conversation with Aera my head started to hurt. I thought it was just a headache, but suddenly I heard a loud, squeaky high pitch sound. It was excruciatingly painful. I wanted to scratch my ears out. It was sheer torture. Then the sound stopped. As I came to I notice only the dragons and humans were affected, but not the wolves. I wondered why. As I try to collect myself I noticed Flame and Gana were flying off. I was about to give chase, but I remember what the fairy told me. I hoped Gana will be okay.

A few hours had passed and Gana and Flame didn’t return. Naturally, I grew worried, but I know Gana can take care of herself. I asked Spirit, who was still up, if he could look after Angel while I was out. I flew off to a cliff a few miles away. I needed to think. As I look at the night sky I wondered. Then I quickly realize Buraki’s Dreadnaught. If the flying fortress was a setup, then Buraki’s core should still be at the Dreadnaught. We could put an end to the war right there. I quickly got up and was about to fly off when I got zapped by electricity, knocking me down. As I was losing consciousness I remember hearing someone. I couldn’t make it out, but it was like they were saying…Laiken. I blacked out…

The Forest of Fear

We were on our way to a place call Crystalden. I never been there before, but I don’t know why we were heading there. Gana barely spoke, but…neither did I. Too many thoughts were going on in my head. Angel…the future one that is, told me Gana, her, and I were the 3 most important parts to the resistance. If one of us falls, the resistance falls. So much pressure. Another thing was that she mentioned Gana was trying to find out something about her past. What did she mean by it? Did Gana loss her memory of something? I didn’t ask, but I know I’ll eventually will sooner or later.

We came to a section where it was virtualously war-free. We decided to stop there for the night. A few hours later I woke up to a sound. It sounded like a whaling sound. Terrific, we got ghosts. Suddenly I saw a forest. I didn’t know why, but I decided to ventur in, not telling the others, who were still asleep. As I kept going the moonlight faded more and more. ???: “You have entered mortal…” Pyron: “Huh? Who’s there? Show yourself!” ???: “You have entered…now you will face…your worst fears…” My worst fears? Was this….was this the Forest of Fear? The voice faded.

I tried going back but it felt like I wasn’t making any progress. Luna: “Stop you bullies!” Pyron: “Luna?” I looked over and saw a younger version of her. Then I saw me. It was the day my Dark powers manifested. The 3 bullies were picking on her and I went to defend her. I fought them but my Dark powers had took me over. Seeing myself like that sent a chill down my spine. Even my spinal plates felt it. I ran from it, but then came to another area. It was Ember. That horrid day 5 years ago when that slayer showed up and I saw Luna slowly dying. I was engulfed in rage and my Dark powers turned me into a Dark Draco. I severely injured the slayer and went on a rampage. Pyron: “Stop! No more!” I ran. ???: ”You will face your greatest fear. You will face your greatest fear…”

I came to another area. It was ravaged by war. It was San Francisco, or to be more exact, Crisis City. Why here? I never experienced any horror here. Suddenly a dark shadow covered me. I turned and saw a large black dragon. Pyron: “Great…what did I get myself into?” ???: “Well well well…never thought I see you again?” Pyron: “Huh? Who are you?” ???: “You can call me the Enforcer, but Pyron will do.” Pyron: “What?! Your…me?!” Enforcer: “Exactly. Thanks to us, we are now free. Free of hurt, free of anger, free from all things that hurted us.” Pyron: “Free?! Free?! How can you…er, me, be free? Buraki has you, me, as his slave?!” Enforcer: “Exactly. I now serve him. The resistance was foolish to rebelled against him. I now see that after my Dark Draco form came back. With Gana and the others gone, we were free. And when the final battle occurs, you‘ll serve the great lord too. Your fate, your destiny, is sealed. You‘ll serve Buraki as his Enforcer.”

I couldn’t believe it. Was this Enforcer my ultimate fear? Am I to become Buraki’s slave? Pyron: “No….no…my fate, my destiny…is to help my daughter purge the world of his evil.” Enforcer: “What?” Pyron: “My family, my friends, everyone who has fought for freedom against Buraki, I will not ever let them down! You may be me from the future, but I will not let my dark half take me over. We will defeat Buraki and free our world from his evil!” Enforcer: “Hmm…keep that conviction in your heart and soul young one?” Pyron: “Huh, what happen to your voice? (The Enforcer turned into a fairy) A fairy?” Fairy: “I am the fairy of the Forest of Fear. In this forest my powers are amplify by how much fear is in one’s heart and soul. You have a lot of fear in you, and Buraki knows it. Remember, it’s never too late to change your destiny. Work with your friends and loved ones.” Pyron: “I will. You can count on it.” I walked away. Fairy: “One more thing…once you get to Crystalden, do not go with or follow Gana. In fact, keep away from her.” Pyron: “Say what?!” Fairy: “You 2 will split up eventually. Once you get to Crystalden, you both will split up to find new allies to help you. Use that time to strengthen yourselves for the upcoming battle. Buraki’s Dreadnaught will be operational soon, so strengthen yourselves in that time.” The fairy disappeared.

Gana: “Pyron, wake up. Come on you sleepy slug, wake up.” Pyron: “Huh…what?” Flame: “We’re getting set to go to Crystalden.” Pyron: “Wait, where’s the Forest of Fear?” Flame: “The Forest of what?” Pyron: “The Forest of Fear.” Gana: “I never heard of it. You must have been dreaming. Come on, we got to move.” Was it really a dream? It felt so real, but I recall what I said and what that fairy said. Dream or not, the final battle was coming. And the destiny of so many rests on our shoulders.

Future Shock times 3

After we rested for a while in a house we had hoped to move on. A storm pretty much grounded us so neither Gana, Flame, or I could fly. With none of Buraki’s machines anywhere to be found we took the necessary time to get some Z’s. We could use some. A couple of hours later I woke up. Gana was missing. Th storm died down as well, so I went out to look for her. Voice: “Pyronnnnnnnn…” I heard someone calling my name. I followed the voice and came across a pink dragoness. Pyron: ”Hello. Who are you?” ???: “You don’t recognize me?” Pyron: “Um…can’t say I have. Though something about you does…wait a second…I know you don’t I? Angel?” Angel: “Yep, it’s me dad. This is my true color, not like the last time we met. Now, come with me.” She grabs my paw and open up a time vortex. Pyron: “Hey, wait a sec- (She drags me in) Aaaaaaaaaaa!!!”

Angel: “Wake up dad.” Pyron: “My head. I so hate time warping. (I got up and saw we were in the future) Great. You dragged me back here. Last time you told me about the death of all of us.” Angel: “I did, but what killed you all was-” We heard a loud roar. Pyron: “What was that?” Angel: “Buraki’s enforcer. We gotta hide.” She drags me again to an abandon building. We looked out the window and saw a large black dragon flying. Pyron: “What the heck was that?” Angel: “The very thing that killed the resistance…Buraki’s enforcer.” Pyron: “That large dragon is Buraki’s henchman? And he was the one who killed us all?” Angel: “Yes. He’s on his way to the Dreadnaught.” Pyron: “The what?”

Angel lead me to the edge of town, where we came to a ravine. Pyron: “A ravine? Why is there a ravine in the middle of the city?“ Angel: ”This ravine was the place where the Dreadnaught came out of. That’s Buraki’s flying warship.” Pyron: “What?! Your telling me this ravine was made by…” Angel: ”Yes. Dreadnaught is 2 miles long and 20 stories high.” Pyron: “I see. So you brought me here to tell me we got to take down that warship before Buraki completed it’s construction, thereby averting our deaths. Good, we can get it done by-” Angel: “No dad. Dreadnaught didn’t cause your deaths. The enforcer did.” Pyron: ”Oh, so the enforcer goes down. Then send me back and we’ll find that enfor-” Angel: “No dad. The enforcer is…you.” Pyron: “Say what?!”

We went back to the grave. Pyron: “B-but how can that be? You said I died.” Angel: “You did…the good part of you. After you and mom got me to Buraki we were able to finally put an end to him, but Salazar appeared and got to you. Mom took the brunt of Salazar’s tendril, leaving you to put an end to him, but when you saw mom slowly dying and saw her blood, something happen to you. Your Dark Draco power reemerged, and ultimately your Dark powers took you over. Buraki seized the opportunity to place a collar around your neck, and there fore you became his enforcer. With you by his side, he crushed the rebellion. In other words dad, it was you who killed the rebellion.” I couldn’t believe it. Y…your saying…all this…this future…is my fault? *She nodded* Then kill me now Angel. Kill me so this future never happens.” Angel: “I can’t. Being a time traveler I seen a bunch of scenarios. (She opens another portal) You see, here is San Francisco, a place where only humans live. No dragons, no monsters, and here’s a San Fran with dragons, tigers, and foxes. No humans. I‘m showing you this because there‘s more on the line than you realize. This world is set to split into a multitude of worlds, but a powerful time dragon must split the world into separate dimensions, separate realms.” Pyron: “Wait, are you telling me Buraki plans on stopping the rebellion by killing us?” Angel: “No. He wants to capture you, stop me from using my time powers, and prevent mom from finding out about her past. In other words, the 3 of us are the most important members of the resistance. If one of us falls, Buraki wins.” Pyron: “Then…what can we do?” Angel: “I’ll send you back dad. Once your back, you’ll head for a place call Crystalden. Before you get there, you’ll rest up for the night. Take that time to separate yourself from the others and head west to the Forest of Fear. Once there travel to the deepest part, where you’ll confront your worst fear. Only by conquering it will you be a step closer to realizing your destiny. (She opens another portal) This portal will take you home. Good luck dad.” I said nothing, so I headed through. I looked at Angel, smiled, and went through.

I return back to the present. I went back to the others and lied down. As I tried to sleep I was awoken by something nuzzling up to me. It was Gana. She came back from wherever she was. I guess she wanted to be close to me. As I slept, many thoughts raced in my head. Is it true? Are Gana, Angel, and I the ultimate 3 members and the ultimate keys that will decide our world’s fate? I know for one thing, and one thing certain, my family, all 3 of us, are in Buraki’s crosshairs.

Rebel Attack Part 2

I watched as the enemy of not just dragons, but of all creatures, stood before me. Buraki was now a cybernetic dragon. Pyron: “What have you done to yourself?!” Buraki: “Oh this? I decided since I couldn’t become a dragon I decided to become a cybernetic one. I’m mighty proud of myself and my new body.” Pyron: “Grrr. I’m taking you out now!” As I went for him a dragon appeared and knocked me back. Voice: “You’ll do no such hard to my master.” I look and saw a black dragon. Pyron: “Gah…and who are you?” Elliot: “The name’s Elliot, and you shall not harm Buraki.” Sylar: “Easy there tiger. Let Pyron collect himself over this initial shock.” Pyron: “Sylar…why ain’t I surprised…” Sylar: “Oh, I just wanted to be part of the winning team. After all, Buraki has all the cards in play.” Pyron: “What do you mean?” Sylar: “I’m saying you and your little band of rebels have lost. Even as we speak they’re getting manhandled.” Pyron: “Grrr.” Elliot: “Enough. Now I want to fight him master.” Buraki: “You may Elliot.” What have I got myself into?

Elliot: “I’ve waited for this moment Pyron. Your second compare to my sister.” Pyron: “Sorry, but I don’t quite follow, but I’ll deal with you first then Buraki.” Elliot: “The husband to my sister shall never touch the ruler of this world.” Pyron: “Huh?” He tackles me but I manage to bounce back and did a tackle on him. Sylar: “I’m rather enjoying this.” He fires bolts of lightning at me while I lobbed fireballs at him. Elliot: “You want to marry my sister, but you’ll never get the chance to.” Pyron: “I don’t know who your sister is, but-” Elliot: “Her name is Gana!” Pyron: “Gana! Gana never told me she had a brother.” Buraki: “Hahahaha, and there’s more she hasn’t told you.” Pyron: “What?! *Elliot struck me with this lightning* Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! *He bites my tail and flings me to the other side of the room* Ow.” Elliot: “I wasn’t able to put her away, but I’ll put you down for good. Then…I will slay my sister and put down your daughter. Then, no one will stop master Buraki!” Pyron: “There’s…no way you’ll touch Gana or Angel!” I shot off my electricity at Elliot, sending him into a wall. Sylar: “What?! When can he do electricity?!” I floated up in the air and fire and electricity started swirling around me. From my body I fired off a vortex of fire and electricity, knocking back everything in the vicinity.

I floated back down. Pyron: “Whoa…how did I do that?” Buraki: “Gah…so you learn to use your fury?” Sylar: “Oww…what power…I’ll take it and-” Buraki: “No. Leave him.” Elliot: “Blast you…Pyron…” Elliot falls down. Buraki: “Well, your more powerful now than when you were a Dark Draco. However…you still lost.” Pyron: “I don’t think so. *I ran to him and slashed off his head. The body toppled over* It’s over. This war-” Buraki: “Isn’t over by a long shot.” Pyron: “What?! But how can you still be alive?!” A projecton appeared in the middle of the room. Buraki: “You silly lizard. I’m always one step ahead of you. I’m in the one place you’ll never reach me…in cyber space. Bwahahaha!” Pyron: “Cyber space?! Your…a virus?!” Buraki: “Virus? Hmm…the Buraki Virus…heeheehee. Nice ring to it. My brainwaves have been inplanted on a computer chip that‘s here in my tower.” Pyron: “Well, like all viruses, they be put down, and we’re the cure. I‘ll destroy you once and for all.” Buraki: “Well, that’s mighty nice, but you cannot destroy me. Not to mention…” Suddenly the tower began to shake. Pyron: “What’s going on?!” Buraki: “It’s launch time. My operations here in San Francisco is done. Soon, all realms of this planet will be ravaged.” Pyron: “Launch time?! *I ran to a window and saw the tower was starting to fly* What?! This place’s flying?!” Buraki: “You didn’t think I keep my flying Citadel Tower in a place for long did you?” Pyron: “Grrr.” Buraki: “Now you have a choice Pyron: destroy me and delay your destruction, or help the prisoners you freed from my army before they’re all slaughtered?” Pyron: “Grrrr…* I headed for the window* Next time Buraki, you won’t be so fortunate.” I got out of the flying fortress tower and flew down, where I saw the rebels greatly over match protecting the prisoners. I swooped in and took out as many as I could and gave the rebels some breathing room. When it was over, the rebels were now down to only 15...including Thomas, Mike, and Sparkles. I watch as Buraki got away.

Gana, Flame, and they’re small group soon came as I was looking on the wounded. Sparkles: “We suffer gravely.” Pyron: “What now Sparkles? With Buraki gone, Crisis City, I mean San Francisco‘s now free…but look at this place…” Sparkles: “Yeah…” Thomas: “I wouldn’t worry. I got in touch with my brother who’s leading a rebel group of his own. He’s coming in 2 days to help us move out.” Pyron: “But, what about these freed civilians now?” Sparkles: “They’re each determine to see this war come to an end. Most of them want to help.” Mike: “Then I say we get them train then. Let’s head back to HQ.” Thomas: “You mean our hideout.” Mike: “Um…yeah, hahaha.” They left. Sparkles: “Thanks again Pyron. You and your friends have some catching up to do.” She leaves and I sighed. Gana and the others took off and I followed. We found a forest area and landed Gana: “I am sorry Pyron. I could not help you with this one.” I saw she was disappointed. Pyron: “It’s ok. I knew it would end like this.” She turned to the others. Gana: “Can you leave us alone for a moment? *They understood and left* Pyron…*She hugged me*…I missed you.” I didn’t know why, but it was only a couple of weeks, but I hugged her back. I wasn’t sure if what Elliot said was true and he and Gana are siblings, or what Buraki said that there was more that Gana never told me. None of that mattered now. What’s important now is that we get to our friends. Our fight with Buraki is now getting tougher.

Rebel Attack Part 1

As I got closer and closer to the city I can hear gunfire. Seems the fight has started. I flew down when I saw a few Aerostats. I went to the rebel hideout, and I got netted again. Thomas: “Who are you intruder?” Pyron: “Thomas, it’s me…Pyron.” Thomas: “Pyron?! Impossible. Pyron was a Dark Draco.” Pyron: “It is me.” Mike: “It could be an imposter. Maybe one of Buraki’s machines.” Sparkles: “No it isn’t. I sense the fiery aura of our friend. It is indeed Pyron. *They letted me out of the net* I see you’re back to normal and no longer a Dark Draco. I’m glad, and now the Dark Draco cycle has ended.” Pyron: “Wait…you mean returning to normal ended the Dark Draco cycle?” Sparkles: “Yes. But right now we have more matters to attend to. A few of the resistance members defected over to Buraki’s side.” Pyron: “Your kidding?!” Sparkles: “Wish I was. There were 60 of us, but now there’s only 35. We sent 8 on a scouting mission, but only Mike came back.” Mike: “I came across a human who seem to use Shadow magic. He told me his name was Sylar.” Pyron: “Sylar?! That hairless ape! *I saw a few ape members* Uh…sorry, no pun intended.” Thomas: “You know him?” Pyron: “He wanted to take the Oracle’s powers, but I intervene and he took my…Shadow magic…wait, you sent me to the Oracle so I would come across Sylar?!” Sparkles: “Better you than her.” I groaned, but I was a bit proud since I no longer was a Dark Draco. Pyron: “Well, he did knocked me out a few days, but least I-” Suddenly there was an explosion.

We went outside and we saw Buraki’s mechanize army heading for us. Thomas: “Aerostats, Dragon hunters, skin jobs, Death Hounds. Evan a Transporter?!” Mike: “We’re severely outgunned.” Pyron: “Maybe…but we’re not outsmarted. You get things ready. I’ll try to stall them as long as I can.” I flew up and made my way to the army. I fired fire balls at the skin jobs and tried my new electric power. I manage to short circuit about 30 of them at one point. The transporter tried to get me, but I was able to dodge it. I heard voices inside of it, so I flew at full speed and used my fire to make a fire shield as I busted through it, disabling it. There were a few people in it, none of which were rebels. They manage to get out. Mike: “We’re here Pyron!” Mike and the rebels finally came after 5 minutes, and the fight had begun.

It went on for over an hour. So much robot parts scattered everywhere. I was exhausted. I was still in the air, fighting back a few Aerostats and knocking them out. Pyron: “Is there no end to this? *I saw Buraki’s tower in the distance* Guess I better head over there and take it out.” So I flew straight for the tower. Voice: “Hey! Pyron!” That voice…I turned and I saw Gana and Flame. They had a few humans with them, one of them Peter. Suddenly A few Aerostats attacked them. I head straight for them. Voice: “No brother. You mustn’t help them.” Pyron: Luna? But…they’re in trouble.” Voice: “I know, but you must let them handle this. Your task is to head in to the tower and confront Buraki.” I hate to have leave them, but Luna was right. Pyron: “Please be careful.” So I continued on to the tower. The closer I got, the fiercer the defenses got, but I busted through, but after 2 minutes the defenses just stopped. I didn’t know what was going on, but I continued and busted through a wall.

I found myself in the prison blocks. Many creatures from humans to dragons were here. I pushed the release doors button and the cell doors opened. Pyron: “Everyone, get out of here!* They stampeded out and I flew up, busting floor after floor until I made it to the top. I was in Buraki’s throne room. Voice: “Ah Pyron, so good of you to have come. The proud father of the little whelping who’s suppose to destroy me.” Pyron: “Buraki! Your reign of terror ends today!” Buraki: “Oh, I beg to differ my dear boy. *Suddenly I heard pounding* My reign has just begun. Bwahahaha!” I turned and saw a large cybernetic dragon. Pyron: “Buraki?! That’s you?!” Buraki: “Indeed it is. Bwahahaha!” I couldn’t believe what I saw. Looks like I’m in trouble.

Out with the dark, in with the shock

Gana: “Aaaaaaaaaaaa!!!” Pyron: “Ganaaa!!!” I woke up. Oracle: “Well, you finally woke up.” Pyron: “Oh man, how long was I out?” Oracle: “3 days.” Pyron: “3 days?!” Oracle: “Yep. Sylar took your Shadow power.” Pyron: “What?! (I tried to use my Shadow magic, but I couldn’t) This can’t be. My Shadow power’s gone. This is just great. Now my edge is gone. *I pounded the ground and felt a shock* Ow. Why did I get shocked?” Oracle: “Because your Electric magic just awoken.” Pyron: “My Electeic magic? But I can’t use-*I looked at my paw, and it was red* What?! *I looked at a large crystal to see my reflection. I didn’t had black scales anymore* What?! I’m red again?” Oracle: “In stealing your Shadow power, Sylar also took away your Dark Draco form. You’re no longer a Dark Draco Pyron. Your curse has been lifted.” Pyron: “Wow…*I looked at myself again, and I noticed my black spinal plates, my wing membrane, and my tail blade were no longer black. They were yellow. Even my horns took on a yellow color, but my belly was still white, and there was a small yellow thunder bolt on both sides of my torso* Did…something happen to me while I was out?” Oracle: “Your slumbering Electric powers awoken. That is your true second power.” Pyron: “But…aren’t dragons suppose to have one type of power?” Oracle: “Yes, but how you and your friends came about you each have been granted ‘special’ powers.” Pyron: “By whom? Wait, my Draco power had suppressed my healing power. Is it…?” Oracle: “Yes, but luckily, your daughter has it. It’s one of her powers, but her true power has yet to be awaken, and in due time…it will.”

I practiced my Electric power for a short time. Seeing how Gana used hers I thought I could handle it. I thought about a new combo attack. With my Shadow power gone I coud no longer do a Shadow Blitz. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my heart. I know that feeling. It was Gana. She was in trouble. Oracle: “Going to find your precious mate?” Pyron: “Yeah. I know Gana’s far away from me, but somehow…I can still sense her.” Oracle: “The bond you both share is stronger than you might think young one. But…” Pyron: “But what?” Oracle: “The rebels will soon storm Buraki’s tower in Crisis City. Without your help, they’ll either be killed or made into skin jobs.” Pyron: And what if Gana’s in trouble. She was losing her powers and-” Oracle: “And you left before you can learn anything young one. If you go to find Gana, the rebels in Crisis City will fail.” Pyron: And if I do help the rebels Gana will…gah! Sorry Oracle, but Gana…she’s been there for me ever since I returned.” Oracle: “I see.” Pyron: “When I’m sure she’s ok, I’ll come back and help the rebels.” Voice: “Don’t Pyron. You must go help the rebels. Gana will be ok. You must go to the tower and free the prisoners.” Luna’s voice. Always so sweet. How I miss mi sister. Oracle: “Looks like you made your choice then.” Pyron: “Yes. To go help the rebels.” I left out of the Oracle’s Cave and made my way back to the worn torn city of San Francisco, otherwise known now as Crisis City.

Back at Buraki’s tower. Skin job: “Sir, all preparations for launch is now ready.” Buraki: “Good. Once we catch the rebels here it’s onward to the next area. Hm? Oh, your bacck. Did you kill them?” Elliot: “No sir. They got away.” Buraki: “No matter. Gana and her little band will be dealt with. And I’m sure Pyron is on his way here?” Sylar: “If he is, what do you want me to do? Take his Fire power too?” Buraki: “No. Elliot, I want you to fight Pyron. See how you fair against him, like you did with your sister Gana. Bwahahahaha!” As I make my was closer to the city I could see the crimson smoky sky. Crisis city was close. I had no idea what was coming up, but I had a bad feeling it won’t be good.

Trials of the Oracle

Sylar, the old turtle, and I went into the cave. All 3 of us seem to want to locate the Oracle. Sylar…something about him didn’t seem right. I just thought it was just me being paranoid. The old turtle…something about him seems t draw my concern. Why did he seek the Oracle. We came to a fork in the road…or in this case, a fork in the cave. Pyron: “Hmm…which way do we go? Left or right?” Sylar: “Gaaa! I’m going right! *So he goes right, and comes out the left side* Wha…what just happened? Grrr….I’ll go left. *So he does, and comes out the right side* Again?!” Pyron: “Well, this is a fine puzzle.” Turtle: “Well, to move forward, one must see the path before they’re eyes.” I didn’t understand what the turtle meant, but I looked left and right. But in the middle I noticed the wall looked a little funny. I walked over to it. Sylar: “What are you doing?” I place my paw on the wall and it went through. Pyron: “Hm? This wall’s a fake?” Sylar: “Good. I’m going through.” He ran pass me into the hidden passage. Pyron: “Grrr…” Turtle: “Nevermind him. Our goal is still the same.” So we went through it too.

As we walked for a short while we came to a section where the cave looked unstable. Turtle: “We must be careful. This part of the cave doesn’t seem sturdy.” I had to agree with the old timer on that. Sylar: “Gaaa!!! Where are you Oracle!!!” That blasted Sylar yelled so loud he started a cave in. Pyron: “We gotta get out of here!” As we were about to go…Turtle: ‘Hellp!” I saw the old turtle was caught between 2 rocks. Pyron: “We gotta help him!” Sylar: “Help him if you want. I got that Oracle to find.” He runs off. Pyron: “Son of a…hang on old timer.” I was able to pry the 2 rocks off of him and carried him to safety before the corridor collapsed. Turtle: “You know…I think I’ll take that offer for a ride.” Pyron: “Ok old man.” He got on my back and I went on.

We found that no good Sylar in a cave with lots of crystals. Sylar: “So…what kept you. Thought you both would be reptilian soup.” Pyron: “Why you-” Turtle:” Hey, what’s going on over there?” A few crystals started to move around and form 2 mini sized golems. Sylar: “You gotta be kidding me. I’ll take them down!” So he went in, drawing his sword, and try to take down a golem, but all he did was get knocked back. I try firing fireballs at then but it did no good. Pyron: “How are we suppose to take these things down? *I noticed the old turtle was off my back and just sitting down* Uh, old timer, you do know there are enemies here.” Turtle: “I do, but they only attack in self defense.” Pyron: “Self defense? *I took notice that when Sylar attacked the golems never attacked back, rather they knocked him back and never attack first. So I just stood there and a golem came at me. When it reached me, it stopped and just stood there. A few seconds later it fell apart* Sylar, stop attacking!” Sylar: “What for?! I’m taking it down!” The golem then just shattered. Pyron: “Sylar destroyed it?” Turtle: “Not quite. He pretty much failed.” Sylar and Pyron: “Huh?” Sylar: “What do you mean I failed?” Turtle: “You don’t see it do you? The Oracle was testing you two.” Pyron: “Testing us? All this was a test?” Sylar: “Wait a minute, you said the two of us, but didn’t you come here for the Oracle too?” Turtle: “No. That’s because…I am the Oracle.” The turtle rised up into the air and there was a burst of light. We covered our eyes, and when the light dimmed down, we saw a white dragon. Pyron: “Your…the Oracle?” Oracle: “Yes. Many like you have tried to find me. A few succeeded while others failed.” I couldn’t believe it.

Sylar: “At long last, I found you. Now I shall have what I seek.” Pyron: “What?” Sylar: “I came here to find the Oracle for one reason: to steal her powers.” Pyron: “What?! Steal her powers?!” Oracle: “You do know you’ll fail Sylar. Even Laiken aw your failure.” Pyron: “Wait, you mean he’s…” Sylar: “A slayer? Yes. Well, ex slayer. And I’ll start by taking your powers lizard boy!” He went for my neck. I started to feel my powers being drained. Pyron: “Gaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Get off of me!” I tried to get him off but he was moving to quick for me to get a hand on. I decided to run into a wall. I was able to get Sylar off of me. Sylar: “I’ll finish you off in a bit. First things first…” He went straight for the Oracle, but was stopped short. Oracle: “You honestly think you would win. Tee hee. As I said, you…failed.” Using her power she sent him flying out of her cave. I was able to get up…but barely. Pyron: “Gah…remind me not to get on your bad side…” I then collapsed. Oracle: “Rest up young one. You had quite an ordeal.” So I did.

Sylar landed in what was a dilapidated swamp. Sylar: “Grrr…that Pyron will pay…but, least I manage to get his power…” A black ball of shadow energy was in the palm of his hand. He then disappeared into the swamp…

The search for the Oracle

I woke up to see that the small band of fighters were getting prepared for the fight that was to come. As I watched, seeing them willing to sacrifice themselves to save those imprisoned in Buraki’s citadel tower…it touched me. But with all of Buraki’s new high tech army, they’re chances were slim. Sparkles was looking outside the window. I approached her. Sparkles: “This city was once a beautiful place. Now, it’s a place of terror and despair.” Pyron: “Well, I guess when you call a place Crisis City it’s bound to attract negative stuff.” Mike: “Crisis City use to have a name that didn’t mean despair.” I saw the boy who warned me of the skin job. Pyron: “And what name was that?” Mike: “San Francisco.” Pyron: “What?! San Francisco?! This is San Francisco?!” Mike: “Use to be…before Buraki’s tower came here 2 years ago.” Pyron: “But, how is-” Sparkles: “Pyron, come with me. *I followed her to the roof and in the distance I saw a large spire* That spire is Buraki’s tower. He’s taken all prisoners there to turn them into skin jobs.” Pyron: “Skin jobs?! You mean…” Sparkles: “Yes. The one you met was once human. Buraki’s Nan virus has done it. That slayer who took out your family…you should thank him. Your family could have been like them. That…is a fate worse than death.” Pyron: “He has to be stop.” Sparkles: And he will. However, you must go now.” Pyron: “What? But don’t you-” Sparkles: “We’ll be ok for now. You must go to the Mystic Cave far to the east and find a Light Dragon called the Oracle. She can help you.” She walks off before I could ask why.

A few hours had passed and I was looking at a few resistance members looking over some machine parts. I got up and began to leave. Sparkles told them I was leaving already so I was led to a secret door. It took me to an unnoticeable blind spot of the city where Buraki’s machines wouldn’t come…especially since it was littered with machine parts. I went out and flew off. I don’t know who this Oracle was or how she can help me, but I believe Sparkles, so I fled off to the east.

As shocking as the world was now, I didn’t came across any of Buraki’s mechs and I came to an area that didn’t seem to be affected by the war. I landed and walked around. It was very peaceful. It reminded me of my old home in the Mushroom Fields. I came to a cave. ???: “Hold it.” I turned and saw a human. Pyron: “A human? Here?” ???: “You came here looking for the Oracle haven’t you?” Pyron: “Uh…yeah, and you are…?” Sylar: “You can call me Sylar, and I’m here to look for the Oracle, so don’t get in my way you overgrown iguana.” This guy seems to have anger issues. ???: “So…it looks like I got competition in looking for the Oracle.” We saw an old turtle. Pyron: “A turtle? Who are you?” Turtle: “You have to forgive me. I simply for got it a long time ago. Of all my years I forgot my own name. Hahahaha.” Sylar: “Peachy. I got an old dragon to find.” He goes into the cave. Pyron: “Humph. Well, I was sent by a friend to look for this Oracle. You need a ride old timer?” Turtle: “I appreciate your generosity, but I’ll be ok.” So we went into the cave. Somewhere inside is the Oracle. I’m hoping to be able to find her and see if she can help me.

City in crisis

It took me a while but I was able to get to the Eastern Territories. Unlike the last time I cross this border I was manhandled by Eastern dragons. Now…there were no Easterners. I flew by a city I once was in and landed. It was the place I met Sparkles. That blind blue beautiful Easterner. Her home and city…utterly destroyed. I moved on. I flew for what felt like hours when I noticed the sun was setting. All the orange hues made it nice. But I notice more orange hues, but it wasn’t the sun. I saw a lot of smoke coming from the horizon. When I got there I found a large city….and it was pretty much destroyed. Fired everywhere, explosions, it was Crisis City. How ironic that what seem like a nice city would be like its namesake.

I was in the city and there was no signs of life. I yelled for anyone, but no one came. As I walked I saw human bodies as well as those of small elves, fairies, wolves, a dragon or two, and machine parts. It was like that field I saw before I met Gana and the others all those years ago. I kept walking and soon saw a human half a block away. I called to them and they turned. As I approached him I felt something wasn’t right. It was like a tense situation. Voice: “Look out!” I heard someone’s voice and I saw a grenade thrown at the person. It exploded. Pyron: “What the- *I saw a boy, I think maybe 13, coming to me* You just threw a grenade at that person?! What’s with you?!” Boy: “Be glad I did. That was a skin job.” Pyron: “A skin job?” Boy: “Wow, how long were you living in your cave? A skin- *Suddenly a small rocket came at us* Watch out! *We dodged it and the human…or should I say skin job came from the flames* Quick, run! *So we did* A skin job is the latest of Buraki’s mechanized army. It looks like a human, but it’s programmed to kill humans.” We ran and came to an old dilapidated building. We went to the back and went in.

As we went inside I was netted. Pyron: “Hey! Let me out!” A few more humans came out. Thomas: “Good job Mike. You got a Dark Draco.” Pyron: “Grrr! When I get out of here-” Voice: “He maybe a Dark Draco, but he’s no threat. Release him.” That voice…I heard it before. A blue Eastern dragon came from the shadows. Pyron: “Sparkles?!” Sparkles: “It’s good to see you again Pyron. I knew you would have come.” I was all confused.

We went into an underground basement and it was stocked with a lot of ammunition. I also saw about 30 humans, 5 cheetahs, 8 wolves, and 6 apes. Most were injured but they all seem to be working together. I looked at Sparkles and saw she was injured on the right side of her belly. Sparkles: “I sense your wondering about that cut. It happened 3 months ago. A scar I can‘t see, but can feel.” I didn’t ask how she got it. Pyron: “It seems everyone here’s gearing up for a fight.” Sparkles: “Against Buraki’s army yes. They rather die than be like the poor souls captured in his citadel tower.” I watched them. Though they know they’re chances are slim, they still fight. Seeing them fight like this reignited the fire I once had. Pyron: “I wanna help. Tell me what to do.” Sparkles: “For now…nothing. Buraki knows of our squad and will strike when he wants to, but in the morning…we’ll strike his tower and destroy that cyborg snake.” Pyron: “His tower?” Mike: “Yes. It’s at the heart of this wasteland city. Were gonna go there and rescue the prisoners and deliver the death blow to Buraki. Pyron, will you help up?” Pyron: “Okay….I’m in.” The group cheers. I don’t know what I can do, but it seems like a fierce battle is going to start. That night I could barely sleep. I saw Sparkles who was close by. I saw that scarred mark on her. Even though I lost my healing powers I placed my paw on her scar. For a brief moment, my black paw was red again, but turned back to black. I went back over to my makeshift bed and went to sleep. But something I thought I heard came from Sparkles. I thought I heard…’Thank you’. I fell asleep.

Redemption

After Gana freaked out Flame and I swam after her and found ourselves on a beach. Gana had told us most of her powers were gone. Flame and I were shocked. At first I thought Buraki was the cause, but then as we walked on the beach we saw a human. Gana said ‘Peter’ but the human didn’t say anything. He ran and Gana chased him. Flame and I followed. We soon found a village of humans, none seem to have came across dragons, but none of them seem afraid of us. When Gana asked for Peter, one of the villagers dragged him before us. Kinda awkward I thought. I said ‘show us what you can do’, and he turned to a few boxes. I then notice all were eyeing Peter, and none at us. So I used my Shadow power and sneaked away unnoticed.

I was flying in the air and I realized it was Bellvalle that we were in. So…I made my was to the other village Gana warned me about…Wells. Voice: “You really weren’t paying any attention were you?” Pyron: “Huh? Who said that?” Voice: “You can’t go to Wells, for that’ll bring about the Knights’ and resistance’s ultimate demise, and your daughter’s death.” Pyron: “You don’t understand. I-” Voice: “I understand clearly. Go to the White Isle and see your father‘s book. It will reveal all to you.” Great, now I got voices in my head. I decided to head for the White Isle.

I arrived hours later to the Isle. I was surprised the place wasn’t at all damage…well, not from the missile attack anyway. I entered the Celestial Caves. Ignitus: “Ah, I figured you would come again Pyron.” Pyron: “And I’m surprise this place wasn’t attacked.” Ignitus: “Buraki’s main focus is to wipe out the resistance and your daughter. This place is of little concern to him.” Pyron: “Look Ignitus, I came to see my father’s book. I don’t know why. I just…need to. *He gives me my dad’s book and I look through it. It shows him as a Dark Draco, my mom saving him, my twin sister and I being born, and his death. I sighed and was a bit frustrated as I flipped through the pages. Then…* Hey, this here, on my dad’s page about Laiken’s betrayal. Laiken lost his wife to a dragon betrayer and blamed my dad. But…*I recognized the silhouette* Tyranis! But…how?” Ignitus: “He can change his scale color and avoid being found out he’s a Dark Draco.” Pyron: ”So Tyranis cause the Slayers to come after us. I’ll make him pay!” Ignitus: “You can’t do that now young dragon. You have a much bigger concern to deal with.” Pyron: “Tyranis IS my concern Ignitus. He murdered Laiken’s wife and had him form the Slayers. They killed my mom, dad, and sister, not to mention other dragons as well. I’ll make Tyranis pay.” Voice: “Stop there Pyron. You can’t go for Tyranis yet. Not in your state of mind.” Pyron: “I don’t know who you are, but get outta my head!” Ignitus: “And I thought you treated your sister nicely.” Pyron: “Huh? She’s dead Igni-” Voice: “Maybe, but an old dragon once said ‘when a dragon dies, it doesn’t truly leave the world.’ And I’m always with you…big brother.” Pyron: “L…Luna?” Voice: “Yep. Our deaths will only be in vain if you don’t redeem yourself. 2 years of torment has hurt you inside. Now…it’s time for you to do what you were born to do.” Pyron: “But…what am I suppose to do?” Voice: “You will travel to a faraway island call Mystic Island. Seek out a dragon name the oracle. They’ll help you, but first, you must head for the Eastern Territories to a city known as Crisis. A small band of resistance fighters not part of your group is in desperate need of help. Go there before it’s too late…” Pyron: “Wait! Luna! *Her voice faded away* Ignitus, I must go. Not to face Tyranis, but somewhere else.” He nods and I leave. Ignitus: “Pyron…only when you’re able to come to grips of your past can you move on.” As I left the White Isle, I made my way to Crisis City. I don’t know why Luna’s sending me there to help out, but knowing Buraki’s forces….time was running out.

The Akkadians

I didn't know what Flame and Gana were talking about. Pyron: "Me? A hybrid? I don't understand. And why are you two helping me? I should be dead now." Gana: "Pyron, if we..." She turned. Pyron: "Are you okay Gana?" Gana: "The next town was Wells. The people there can sense a Dark Draco. You would have been killed for certain. *I sensed Gana was very concerned about me* Besides, Nera will lead the others through and we'll reach our detination...Bellvalle. "I was still confused about all this. I said nothing. Hey, look at this." Pyron: "Look at what?" Gana: "Ugh...nevermind."

We walked and Flame came with us. Gana mentioned he came with the convoy to give the resistence some info on Buraki's whereabouts. Apparently he's at a hidden citadel tower that was recently constructed. Flame: "Whoa..." Flame stopped at a rock. Why he did I didn't notice. Gana: "Hurry up Flame!" He came along. As we walked things were on my mind. I stopped to rest my feet. I looked at some water droplets on a nearby bush. I found it weird since it hasn't rain for days. I looked a little closer and saw what looked like a castle. I was baffled, but I got up and continued. I caught up to Gana and Flame as they had stopped. Pyron: "You ok?" Gana: "Something's not right." She then told to fly. We flew and suddenly it started to flood. It came like a tsunami. We flew higher to escape it, but then we were grabbed...by hands that protruded from the water. We were pulled in. We struggled but couldn't get free. I felt extreme fear...but it wasn't me, it was Gana. She had a fear of water. Soon...I blacked out. Finally, my death would come, sadly...Gana and Flame were coming with me.

???: "Wake up young dragons. It's ok." I woke up, and saw we were still in the water...but we were breathing. I saw a dolphin. Dolphin: "Welcome to the Akkadian Empire." Pyron: "What happened to us?" Flame: "And how are we breathing underwater?" Dolphin: "We gave you the ability to breathe underwater. I too am an air breather like you, but the king granted me the ability to breathe underwater. Because your not of the water, your only able to do this for 12 hours." Gana: "Oh thats nice. The invite could have been nicer though. I really dont like water. Dolphin: "I am sorry, but since you hate water we knew you would never try to enter it, so we had to do this." He seemed sincere, but knowing Gana, she wasn't happy. Gana: "Good! Now that we are forced to be here...explain to us who are the Akkadi and why do we need to be here." I felt her heartpace sped up. She was feeling anxiety. She really hates the water. Dolphin: "The Akkadi are very gentle and proud creatures. You do NOT want to insult them. It may be the last thing you ever do. They are also known as 'Generous creatures of Darkness'. *I thought that's quite a name* If you are afraid, don't show it. Flame: "Now...what are we doing here?" Dolphin: "The Akkadi king, Slaifon, needs to speak to you. Follow me."

We followed him to a big castle. There were so many fish and fish type creatures here. Dolphin: "Follow this guard. He will lead you to the king." We were greeted by a swordfish and he took us into the palace. We finally came to the royal hall. Slaifon:"My guests have arrived. Please, come in. I am sorry that our hands grabbed you and forced you down here, but there was no other way to contact you except for the signs that we were sending you, but none of you haven't noticed. We had to do it this way then." Signs? Hmm...the castle in those droplets I saw on the bush. So he did it. Flame: "Whoa...that trick you did on the rock was pretty good." That explains why Flame stopped at that rock. Slaifon: "And not enough good for you to realize it means something. *Flame put his head down. I'm guessing he wanted to show humility. Hehe, showoff* I have brought you here to tell you that Buraki made new types of machines. Stronger, faster, bigger and more powerful then any other machines we ever seen before, and they all have the same and only task: wipe out dragon resistence and dragon allies. We examined the current machines that your army fought against. You remember death hounds, hunters, dragon killers?" Oh, do we ever. Pyron: "Wait, you can see what's happening above the water? How?" Slaifon: "I can see everything thats happening on the surface if I want to. I just pick a destination, then I can see everything. Thats how I saw Mistfalls end, the war at Dragonopolis, the war between Eastern and Western dragons. Good becomes bad, bad becomes good...and now, Embers death. *We look at each other* This is how I found all about his machines. But without you, I would not see it. Cause those machines top priority was, and still is, to destroy the new born and the main leaders. The main leaders are you two I guess." He pointed to Gana and me. I wanted to say I'm not a leader and don't want to be, but Gana spoke. Gana: "The new born is....Angel?" Slaifon: "Hmm...your daughter. Yes." I sensed Gana got scared. I went over and hugged her. So did Flame. Gana: "Our child is on Burakis top list. I am just afraid that I wont be there for her, when she needs me the most." When Gana said that...it made me feel...hurt. Slaifon: "Gana, she can take care for herself now." Gana: "What? For crying out loud, she's still a baby!" A baby to her, but with such a burden to put on a little girl, I had to agree. Slaifon: "With great powers..." Gana: "With great powers, comes great responsibility. *I was worried too as I looked at her* Tell us everything you know, even the tiniest details about the new machines."

Slaifon: "Buraki's scientists built various types of machines. They still have the same name but with an added number by side which describes the machine likely to be much more powerful then the older version. For example: Dragon killer lets say evolved into Dragon Killer S-100, Death Hund to Death Hound C-44... They also created 1,400-pound T-800 that is designed as a human metal skelton. They are more focused and designed for killing humans, not dragons. *We couldn't believe it. buraki just doesn' want to wipe out Dragons, but it looks like he was gonna do what Malefor failed to do...wipe out everyone in the world. If we don't find him and destroy him soon, this world and all realms is finished. No one would be able to oppose Buraki* There's also a machine that is like a prisoner transport called the Transporter and its huge attachment is the Harvester, that is used for capturing targets, it also has very powerful weapons, if you ever see those, stay out of the way. Hide underground, anywhere that they can't see you. And last but not least, the newest, water-proof Hydro-Bots, which we describe as a cross between a psychotic crab and a deep sea fish with an eel body. So, our empire is going to be attacked by those. No one knows when. But our forces have been gathered and train every day." Gana: "Its not enough! It has never been enough. We are outnumbered! By..by machines! *Gana was scared. It wasn't Buraki, but the fear of being in water too long was too much for her* I need to get out of here....I'm sorry but we can't even help ourselves!" She swam to the surface. Flame went after her. Pyron: "Sorry your highness. he didn't mean it." Slaifon: "I know. Pyron...she needs you. The Dragon Knights need you. Without you to be there for her, Gana is lost. For your cause, help them...and the world." I knew the king was right. I nodded and swam up. It looks like we got a big world war at our hands now...and Buraki is winning...

Pyron's Heart

There was a large amount of confusion in the misty fog. For one thing a blue light seem to have broken the chain that bounded me to Lagon. Next thing I know, Gana grabs my paw and pulls me away, far from the others. I don't know why she did it, but I felt fear and desperation in her. Why? Why did she run the risk of freeing me?

We got far enough for no one, not even the few Vixers that remained, to even track us. Gana: "Good, we're far from the others. *She turned, faced me and took my magic muzzle off my mouth* Pyron...I'm glad your okay. *I didn't say anything* At least look at me. *So I did* Pyron, what's with you? You rarely eat, you don't talk to me, and you still...please, say something." Pyron: "Why should I? I deserve to die." Gana: "What? No Pyron, you do not." Pyron: "Yes I do. I killed that slayer, abandoned everyone for 2 years, and...gah, I can't even look at Angel. Look at me, I'm a Dark Draco. I have to be slayed."

I walked a few steps and sat down. Gana: "Pyron, your hurt inside. I can feel it. The slayer...he isn't dead. Thanks to Angel." Pyron: "What do you mean?" Gana: "I'm not sure, but it seemed she had healed the slayer from his wounds. I think she somehow has your healing powers. Though we did arrest the slayer, he did offer us a proposition. He wants to be free, and in exchange he'll be our informant to Laiken and the other slayers. So far he has held up his part of the bargain." Pyron: "Gah..." Voice: "Listen to her Pyron. Gana has more to say." It was that sweet voice again. Where was it coming from? Gana: "Another thing Pyron, you aren't a full Dark Draco...and you'll never will be." Pyron: "Huh? What do you mean?" Gana: "Your heart isn't twisted. It does have some darkness in it, but it's being balanced by light." Pyron: "I'm confused. What do you mean?" Flame: "Gana's saying your a hybrid Pyron." Flame appeared from the mist. Pyron: "Flame?!" Flame: "Yes. And your the only one who will put an end to the Dark Dracos once and for all." I was still stunned by all this. What did these 2 mean?

Back at the Draco Cave...Tyranis: "Blast that Pyron. When I get my claws on him, I'll-" ???: "You'll do nothing of the sort." Tyranis: "What? Who are you stranger?" A mysterious guy in a hood came to the Dracos. ???: "Who I am is none of your concern. What I want to know is why you let Pyron escaped." Tyranis: "Hmph." Suddenly Tyranis was grabbed by a long tendrill. ???: "Answer the question!" Tyranis: "Long tentacles...wait, your...Alazar!" Alazar: "That's right. And now you Dracos will work for me." Tyranis: "Why should we? *Alazar tightened his grip and knocked back several Dracos* Ok ok. *Alazar letted go* What...do you want us to do?" Alazar: "I want you to capture Pyron. You don't know it, but he'll bring doom to the Dracos." Tyranis: "What?! I don't believe you, and why do you want him?" Alazar: "Because I want...his beating heart. Muhahahahahaaaaa!"

Youth Days

I was still in my cage in the magic chains. An unecessary precaution for Lagon, but I didn't argue. As we moved on we left Camp Eclispe and made our way for the city of Wells. For some reason Gana seem nervous. I felt it in her heart. I didn't know why. Suddenly my cage got stuck in some mud. Lagon got me out of my cage and I had to wallk on foot. I looked up and saw Gana flying. She looked down at me. The freedom of the sky. How so do I miss it. But I don't deserve to be free. I wish my dark draco power never awoken in me. Especially when I was a kid...

When I was just a welpling I loved to play with Luna in the Mushroom Fields. Pyron: "Look sis. I puff up smoke. I'm getting my fire in my belly." Luna : "That's great brother. I wonder if I can breath fire too. (She tries to breathe out fire) Hmm...guess not." Pyron: "No worries Luna. Even if your not a fire dragon, I will still watch over you." Luna hugs me. Luna: "Thanks brother." Star: "Kids, time for supper." Luna: "Yey." Pyron: "Let's go." I remember promising Luna I'd watch over her. I failed at that. Voice: "Pyron..." I looked around and though all were talking, the voice was as sweet as Gana's, but she wasn't near me.

I remember the day my dark draco power first rose. Luna and I were in the Mushroom Fields when 3 other dragons came. They were bullies. They bullied a few other dragons and came to me and my sister and bullied us. They took the snack my mom made for her and stomp on it. Luna cried and it made me mad. I pushed one of hem and I got into a fight with them. They knockedmedown and Luna pleaded to them to stop. They shoved her out of the way, and that made me mad. Then...it happened. My dark draco power woke. I blasted the bullies and my body turned semi dark. Luna got scared and called out to me. I immediately stopped, and had no idea what happened. Mom and dad came and saw what happen and took me and Luna away.

I didn't know what happen after that. My memory of the event faded. We approached the mist. I remember hearing Gana saying something about the path we took to Wells was in an area Buraki was planning to ambush us. It was so misty you could barely see past 2 feet. Suddenly there was a flash. The chain that Lagon held on to me broke. Then Gana grabbed my paw and pulled me away. Where is she taken me and why. What in the world was going on?

Camp Twilight Assault

As I stand there listening with my 'escort' of guards by me, Gana explained further. Gana: "While you were gone Pyron, the Dragon Knights formed. It's a name most people call us since we held our own against Buraki while in Ember, but the cave deteriorated so we had to abandon it and seal it off in case Buraki or the slayers get any ideas. Anyway, last month we got word from our intelligence that Buraki was killing humans. We didn't know why...until last week. He went for a village way south of the Scorchlands and slaughtered a human settlement...or so we thought. In a village of 500, only 8 were killed. We learned from some withesses the 8 were skilled in magic, but not enough to be wizards or sages." Rica came running. Rica: "Gana, we got trouble. Ratchet got a call that another camp call Camp Twilight was attacked by the Slayers. They even swiped a crystal that powered their barricade." Gana: "Then we must move."

I had assumed I would be put back in my cell, but instead...Gana: "Pyron, I'm gonna need your help." I was stunned, but the villagers were stunned more. They argue and protested. Lagon: "Gana's word is final, and I'll look after him. Let's get you suited up." Suited up? What did he mean? Minutes later we went to an armor blacksmith. Craft: "Ok Lagon, here's your armor, and for Pyron, I crafted this special armor for you. (So Lagon, Gana, and a few other dragons put on their armor. I went on to put on the helmet, tail brace, and leg braces.) Make sure your back before the sunsets. Hehehe..." We soon went out and the shield drop. We flew up, though while leaving I could still hear some arguing.

As we got closer to Camp Twilight we saw smoke. Lagon: "Oh geez. It's already a wreck." Gana: "We better hurry and rescue survivors." We landed and immediately found trouble with some hunters. We quickly took them out. We went to look for survivors. Most of the people were ok, but 2 dragons and one human were hurt. Gana: "Who's in charge here?" Matt: "I'm Matt. I'm in charge here. You must be Gana, leader if the Knights. If your wondering what happen here we were invaded by the Slayers. They took our crystal that powered the shield, and soon enough Buraki's forces came." Gana: "This camp is lost. We better gather up what we can and go." We took them with us back to Camp Eclispe, but we had to walk since many campers didn't have wings.

It was sunset when we got back to the camp. The shield drop to let us in. My last experience convince them...plus what Gana told them. As everyone settle and more protests continued, I started to take off my armor. Suddenly I felt a jolt, and the next thing I knew I got zapped by electricity. I collasped to the ground and lost consciousness. I heard voices...mostly Gana's, something about get that armor off of him. She did it herself since she was resistant to the electricity. She got it off of me and ordered Craft to come. I lost consciousness again. I woke up and saw it was night. My head was ringing, but I heard Gana. Gana: "Listen up, the next one who throws food or harasses Pyron in any manner, I'll make sure to throw you behind bars too. Got it? (She approached my cell) Craft rigged that armor to gve you a heavy dose of electricity the moment you came back to the camp. Luckily I was able to draw what electricity your body absorbed and saved you. I intend to talk to Craft before we leave for Bellvale in the morning." She leaves. I put my head down and wondered why. Why did she helped me?

Gana: "Ok Craft. Start talking. Why did you try to kill Pyron?" Craft: "Your so blind it's laughable Gana. Pyron's a Dark Draco, and he must die." Gana: "Why? Why go through the risk of shocking only him and not the rest of us dragons?" Craft: "Because he's the only one in your group who's a Dark Draco. You see, I'm from Wells, and the people of Wells hate the Dark Dracos. They're mostly humans like me, but can sense which dragon has the blood of our most hated enemy, the Dark Draco. Pyron will die when you take him there, and no amount of protection you offer them or him will matter. He'll draw a Wellean like a moth to a flame. Even now I want to kill him." Gana: "Well, your gonna stay in here until the Knights leave." She walks away. Craft: "No matter what, as long as he has his form and the blood of a Draco in him he's as good as dead to a Wellean." Gana wondered what wa she gonna do. How will she protect me? None of this stuff I even know about, and the next place we visit would be death to me.

Camp Eclispe

It's funny when I thought about it...not the funny haha thing. 5 years ago Buraki was just flesh and blood like the rest of us. I was nothing more than just an adolescent dragon who searched for his family, only to join up with soon to be friends. Then we go on adventures and find ourselves in a war. I was nearly killed by Kyle, lost Gana and got her back, have a beautiful daughter with her, teamed up with former Buraki henchmen Bulco and Heinaus, and fought Buraki. Gana and I killed him but he came back to life as an android, more powerful than ever. Then...things went downhill for me. I thought about all of that while in my cell, never noticing one thing: No Buraki machines. We were out in the open, in plain sight of an attack, but nothing. I lifted my head and looked around, but lowered it and said nothing.

Spirit: "Is that it Gana?" I lifted my head again as I saw a shield barricade. Gana: "Yes. My mom told me it would be here. Camp Eclispe. Everyone, we're going in." And so we passed by the shield, but when I did I felt so much pain. I roared but we kept going through. The guards were in no rush, but we manage too make it through. I couldn't move after that as my vision got blurry, then I passed out.

I barely woked up and heard Gana's voice. She was scorning the guards for not moving fast enough. I barely open my eye and still in pain, but I got up. Gana: "So your awake. The shield protects this camp from Buraki's attacks and dark magic. I guess in your Dark Draco form you count as a dark magic user." I said nothing, but just lied down in my cell. Gana walked away to go talk to some humans. Hours passed and some kids threw tomatoes at me, calling me a traitor to the Knights. I just looked at them and just turned around.

Night fell. Angel approached the cell. Angel: "Dad? (I turned my head to see her) A lot of the resistence blame you for ditching us 2 years ago. but...mom, Spirit, Nera, Lagon, Rica, Anakin, and Jane never gave up on you. I didn't either. In a way, you leaving only helped us strengthen up. (I said nothing) Here, I brought you some lamb, your favorite. (She put its in an opening in my cell, but I didn't touch it) Dad, you haven't ate in days. I know what you did was awful, killing that slayer for slaying aunt Luna. She didn't die in vain dad. Grandma and grandpa sacrifice themselves to save her and she manage to come see you before she died. Mom said this to me: when a dragon dies, they don't truely leave the world. (I looked at her) I don't get it, but she said you know what it meant. Night dad." She leaves. Moments later I took the plate with the lamb on it and ate it. Gana rememered how I liked it...medium rare.

Morning came and many were busy preparing for something. I sat up and saw what was going on. Lagon: "Well, your up. Gana requested that you should be let out of your cell. You'll still be shackled so you won't use your powers." Lagon told me as if I have every intention on escaping. They let me out of my cell. It felt good to stretch my wings, but Lagon and the 2 guards held my leash. don't see why thy bothered, but I guess all still think I'm with the Dark Dracos. They took me to a tent where Gana was in. She was wearing some special dragon armor. Gana: "Well Pyron, we're gonna need your help. Buraki is now targeting humans." Targeting humans? Why on earth would Buraki attack a creature who he considers inferior to him? Something tells me I'm about to find out.

Despair

2 days have passed. The resistence group of Ember, dubbed the Dragon Knights by a few, left Ember. Lagon used explosives to seal off Ember. Many still argued that I should be buried along with it, but Gana had the final word. she, Nera, Lagon, Jane, and even Spirit, were the counsel leaders, though Gana was the main leader. We marched, but I was in a moving cell still shackled. I haven't said a word for days, and barely ate. If they saw what I saw, they be terrified too.

A week ago I was with the Dark Dracos as they attacked a village far from the war lines. A peaceful village it was. The Dracos slaughter everyone just to take their foodstocks. Tyranis made us swear no survivors. I found a food pantry and saw a mother grizzly bear with her 2 sons. I saw the fear in their eyes. The same fear I saw in my daughter's eyes. Pyron: "Go, get outta here, quick!" They ran quickly but then I saw one of the Dracos heading for them. I quickly intercepted him and knocked him down. Tyranis then knocked me from the sky. I landed hard. Tyranis: "Pyron, what do you think your doing? I said no survivors." Pyron: "N...no. This is wrong." Tyranis: "We'll discuss this home. Come."

We were back in our cave. Tyranis: Pyron, explain to me why you defied me." Pyron: "That village had nothing to do with this blasted war. Those people wanted to get back to their lives, and you slaughtered them."Tyranis: "Please, don't be as weak as your father. Come and enjoy the spoils." As he turned I lobbed a fireball at the food, burning some of it. Pyron: "No." Tyranis: "What?" Pyron: "I will not be a part of this. Not anymore." Tyranis: "Oh, you wanna leave? Pyron Pyron Pyron...don't you realize if you leave you'll be put down by those of Ember? We're your family now. Don't forget, you did kill the only lead you had to that Slayer Laiken, and your family's dead." Pyron: "My mom, dad, and twin sister..." Tyranis: "You think your wife will take you back after killing that slayer?" Pyron: "Gana isn't my wife...because I don't deserve her...but I rather die by her side than be here with you." I start to leave. Tyranis: "Pyron, your not leaving." Pyron: "Try and stop me." I ran for it. Tyranis: "Get him!"

And so I was chased by the Dracos, but I manage to take down each of them and manage my escape. As I flew, I looked at the wartorn landscape. It reminded me when I escaped from Buraki's lab and wondered the landscape and saw all the carnage. I found refuge in a swamp and rested. I looked into the water and saw my reflection. I stared at it, and hated it. I killed the one lead the resistence had to putting a end to the slayers and then focusing on Buraki and ending the war, but all I did was ran away and brought our end closer. I knew I had to go back to Ember and confront everyone. It was my only choice.

I flew to Ember, but I had to get pass the Scorchedlands. I passed Buraki's teritory, but all was quiet. There were no patrolling Aerostats, no Dragon Killers or Hunters. Not even the Golems. The Scorchlands were barren...more than usual. I continued on. As I approached Ember, I was under attack. It was a couple of dragons, no, there were 3, 4, 5 of them. I tried to fend them off, but I got snared in an electric net and fell to the ground. I was barely conscoius, but I heard one of them mentioned Ember.

Voice 1: "Look. He's waking up." Voice 2: Stay back everyone." When I woke up I found myself in a cage. I was in Ember. some dragon guards had dragged me to a cell. Then a blue dragon appeared. I couldn't believe it. It was Gana. She was a bit different. Gana: "So, you return Pyron. It wasn't easy tracking you down for 2 years. (I tried to approach her, but I was in shackles) Those are magic shackles. They prevent you from escaping and prohibits you from using your magic. Make sure he doesn't try anything tricky." She leaves. I know she was angry at me for deserting everyone. I couldn't blame her either. But then, I heard something. It sounded like Gana. It sounded like she said "I'm so glad he's okay and back." And so here I am, still in my cell as this convoy heads for an encampment. I can still hear the villagers moaning and disagreeing my presence with them. After what I did, I don't blame them.

Fall from grace

I found myself in shackles in Ember. Much of the city is in disarray. I heard from the guards we were moving to a new location. Gana and Angel came to my cell. I looked at my daughter. She has grown since I last saw her. I missed out on her growth. I sat up and try to approach them, but the magic shackles kept me from getting to the bars. I was about 3 feet away, but with my long and slender draco form only made it a mere foot away. Angel: "Daddy, why? Why did you leave us on that day?" I looked at her, but said nothing. How could I? How could I tell her why I deserted everyone? How could I say it...when everyone witness what horrible act I did?

It happened 2 years ago. 3 years prior Buraki launched over 200 missiles on the dragon cities. Each warhead contained the Draconic virus. The cities closest to the Scorchedlands, all the inhabitants, dragon and not, were wiped out. The more farther cities and villages had a chance to evacuate or protect themselves. To date about 30% of the dragon population was gone. Most wasn't due to the virus, but by the Dragon Slayers. They were an elite group of assassins dedicated to the annililation of the dragon race. Most were people who lost their loved ones to Malefor years prior and to the Dragon War with Buraki. We heard Buraki got in touch with the leader. His name was Laiken, and he has slain practically half of the 30% who survived the missile strike. Every dragon hated him. Laiken was once a member to the resistance group my parents were in until he and my dad got in an argument. Suddenly a mysterious dragon came and was going to kill my dad, but instead struck down Laiken's wife. In his rage Laiken went after the dragon and took him down, but he blamed my dad for this. Because the dragon...was a Dark Draco. Laiken vowed to rid the world of dragons.

Time went on in Ember. Our group was stronger than we were 3 years ago. Buraki tried to attack us several times but we repel his attacks. Unfortunately, for every victory we get the closer to my defeat we got to. My anger grew more and more. A few occassions I went into my Dark Draco form and I was able to revert back. But each time it took longer for me to return back to normal. And the black scales that were my red scales stayed longer and longer. It was a week since my last transformation and half my body was covered in black scales. Many were worried. Ratchet: "Guys, we got trouble. A resistance group was attacked." Gana: "By who? Buraki's forces?" Ratchet: "No. The slayers." Nera: "Who they attacked?" Ratchet: "Well, they attacked a group led by....um...it was..." Pyron: "Who? Who was it?" Ratchet: "Your parents' group Pyron." Pyron: "What?! How-" Ratchet: "Calm down Pyron. A medical convoy is on its way here now. We'll get who's hurt."

Minutes felt like hours, but the convoy camed. Of the hurt I saw Luna, my sister. There was also an armed guard service. They brought a slayer. Guard: "This slayer was the only one of his group that survived. We'll question where the slayer hideout is and bring Laiken to justice." I went towards Luna. Doctor: "We stabalized her vitals, but unfortunately-" Pyron: "Unfortunately? Unfortunately what?" Doctor: "She won't make it?" Pyron: "What?! She's dying?! (I went to her) Luna! Luna!" She open her eyes. Luna: "Hi big...brother." Pyron: "Luna, hang on. I'm gonna heal you. (I tried but I couldn't heal her) No....I can't use my healing power!" Luna: "Py...ron..." Pyron: "Sis, stay with me. Your gonna be okay." Luna: "We both know that won't happen. Mom...and dad...did their best to protect me. At least Bur...aki's nano virus didn't get us...thanks to Kaiser and the others. Brother...don't give up. Beat Bura...ki..." Pyron: "Luna, don't say that. Luna? (She closed her eyes slowly) Sis, stay with me. (She was gone) No...Lunaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!"

Slayer: "Ha! One less dragon. Laiken will be proud of me for skewing that one." Pyron: "You...you....killed...my sister..." Slayer: "That's right dragon." Pyron: You...killed...my...SISTER! GWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" My anger got to me and I heard my dark side speaking. Dark Pyron: "Yes. Yessss. We're one now. Hahahahahahaha! We've finally merged Hahahahahaaaa!" I transformed into my Darrk Draco form. Slayer: "What?! He's a Dark Draco?!" Pyron: "Gwaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!" The slayer got loose and tried to escape, but I gave chase to him. He ran into every house he can and I just ran right through them like a ram. I finally cornered him. Slayer: "Wait! Don't! Listen, spare me and I'll tell you where to find Laiken is. (I got closer) Please, don't kill me. Laiken and the other slayers are in the remains of a city close to the ocean. You can find him there." Pyron: "YOU...KILLED...MY...SISTER! GWAAAA!" Slayer: "Nooooooo!"

Gana: "Pyron! Where are you?" Lagon: "He can't be hard to miss. He's bigger than me." I came from the alleyway. My claws and mouth dripped in blood. Gana: "Pyron...you didn't..." Pyron: "Grrrrr!" Lagon: "Pyron, stop. Your not-" Pyron: "GWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" I attacked Lagon but he was able to get away. I destroyed a few more houses and the citizens ran for safety. I had completely lost control. Angel: "Daddy!" I didn't see Angel as I swished my tail in her direction. Gana: "Angel, look out!" Spirit doved in and took the brunt of the hit. He was hurt badly. Jane tries to stop me but I sent her back into a wall. Gana ran to cover Angel. I looked down and snarled at Gana. Then saw Angel. She was terrified as well as Gana. I looked into Angel's eyes, and I saw fear. She was scared of me. Something snapped in my head, and I regain myself. Just like that all the rage that was in me was gone. I looked around and I saw parts of Ember nothing but rubble. I looked at my claws. Blood was on it as was the taste in my mouth. It was the slayer's blood. I was in total shock. Pyron: "What have I done? (The citizens were afraid of me. Nera was tending to Spirit. Lagon was hurt in one leg) What have I done? (I tried to turn back to normal, but I couldn't. I was stuck in my Dark Draco form) I got to get outta here." I flew out of Ember. Gana: "Pyron, wait!"

I flew for about 20 minutes and found an abandon cave. I tried my best to revert back to my old self. No good. I couldn't believe what I did. I killed a slayer in cold blood, just because of what he did to my sister. I wrecked Ember and hurted my friends. Even worse, I terrified my own daughter. I was ashame and very depressed. Voice: "So, your aa Dark Draco." Pyron: "Huh? Who's there?" A black wyvern appeared. Tyranis: "I am Tyranis, a fellow Dark Draco. I sense your power from afar. You done quite a terrible deed, and now everyone's scared of you. I can help. I can take you where you won't be hated. Come, come with me." I didn't know why, but I went with him. and I joined the Dark Dracos. I looked at my daughter. She wasn't afraid anymore. She was concern, but even now I couldn't tell her why I left. Gana: "Pyron, Ember has fallen into dispear since you left. We're moving to a new location in a few days. Many wish to bury you here when we seal Ember off, but I felt you need to come." They both left. I wish they did bury me with the city. Everyone had hunted me from the Dracos to the resistance. As I sat in my cell I had truely fell from grace...

Crisis: Part 3 Missile Attack

Nera: "Come on you two. Buraki's about to launch a missile for Ember. This is no time to fight." Pyron: "No Nera. I'll show Lagon I won't be the leader. He is." Spirit: "But Pyron, Lagon, it makes no sense. If either of you lose, then neither of you can be leader." Jane: "The little guy's right. There's no logic to this." I paid no attention. All my fury was focused on Lagon. I will beat him and show I won't become leader. Gana: "Mom, we got to stop them." Flora: "No honey, let them." Gana: "But mom-" Flora: "This has to happen. I have forseen it." Gana groans. St Lagon and I fought. It seemed we were evenly match, but the big guy has been in many battles and always had a trick or two to stay ahead. My anger was growing, and so was my Draco power. DP: "That's right Pyron. The more angry you get, the stronger we become. Soon we'll embrace our Dark Draco form and destroy Lagon." Pyron: "Gaaaaaa! Why are you holding back? Fight me with all your power!" I didn't realize I was about to lose control of mysely, but instead I lunged for him and Lagon got ready to attack. We whacked each other and the fight ended in a draw.

Jane: "Great. Now that you 2 neantherthals got that out of your systems can we focus on the missile that'll kill us please?" Lagon: "Yeah. I'll gather up the forces. I believe-" Rica: "Wait, you don't know where the missile is." Lagon: "True, but knowing Buraki, he'll launch it from his citadel. Let's go." So Lagon took some troops with him to Buraki's stronghold. I pounded the ground. Gana: "Pyron, what was all that about?! you know my mom said the 2 of us will become the new leaders. It's in the prophecy." Pyron: "Screw the prophecy." Gana: "What?" Pyron: "All this! The fight with Buraki, the countless lives lost, all this. Have we even made a dent to that mechanized reptile? No!" Gana: "but we-" Pyron: "But what?! We lost our friends. Kaiser, Kyle, Bulco, Robby, we even had to seal Spyro and Cynder back to protect them from Buraki's assault
months back. They got badly injured for it. And why?" Gana: "Pyron, listen to what your saying. Your fusstrated. Our little girl will soon end this. Then it'll be peaceful again." Pyron: "Gaa...peaceful...if I never....gaaa." I walked away. Gana: "Pyron..."

I was back in my hut. Thought the missile was on everyone's minds they all prepared for the inevitable. Me, I didn't care. I looked at my right paw. I saw some black scales. I wouldn't have realized I was getting closer and closer to my Dark Draco form. Angel: "Daddy..." I turned over and saw Angel. She came to me and curled up towards me belly. I wanted her to go, but I didn't. Instead I held her, gave her a kiss, then went outside. I ran to the square. Pyron: "Listen up everyone, Lagon's gonna need all the help he can get. If that missile hits us, we're done for. So, I request some volunteers who'll come with me and help Lagon destroy that missile. People were reluctant, but a couple of griffins approached me. Then one dragon, then 2 Vixar members. Gana: "I'll come too." Nera: "So will I." Pyron: "Thanks." Spirit would look after Angel and we flew off.

We passed the Scorchlands interior and soon saw Lagon and his troops in a fight with some dragon killers. We joined in the fight and quickly tooked them out. Lagon: "What kept you? Let's go." We eventually reached Buraki's tower, and towards the left a missile silo. We flew down, though it was oddly quiet. We kept on our toes and Lagon found the vile containing the Draconic Virus in the warhead. We disable the timing mechanism and flew out. but before we did we also laid a time bomb to destroy Buraki's missile. After 5 minutes it blew up and we were a safe 2 miles away. We cheered and headed back to Ember.

We were greeted by our friends. One of the Vixers had took the head of a dragon killer as a keepsake. We were all glad that the crisis was over. Voice: "Gahahahahahaha!" Lagon: "What? Buraki!" Nera: "His voice..it's coming from that robot's head." Buraki: "Lagon Lagon Lagon, you didn't think I know you were coming did you?" Lagon: "The game's up Buraki. You lost. Ember's safe." Buraki: "Perhaps, but that doesn't mean the other areas aren't." Pyron: 'You monster! you destroyed Ganron and all it's inhabatants. If I ever get my claws on you, I'll-" Buraki: "You'll what? Temper temper Pyron. I'm surprise you haven't notice your transformation." Pyron: "Huh? What do you mean?" Buraki: "Your transformation to a Dark Draco. I imagine your showing black scales on your red body, heehee." Nera: "I do see patches of them." Buraki: "You see Pyron, you thought the experiments gave you the Shadow power, but really it was you using but a small portion of your Dark Draco power. I did my research on them. I merely tested how much you would endure. Surprisingly you endure quite well. Cassandra only accelerated your transformation. But enough about that. The rest of dragonkind and everyone else shall feel my missile attack." Ratchet: "Whoa! I'm getting multiple hits on the radar!" All: "What?!"

Buraki: "Heehee. I knew you would come for the one aimed at Ember, so I kept the other 249 missiles secret. So now their on their way to the other dragon cities all over the world. The catastrophe will bring your kind to it's knees. Consider this your 2nd Judgement Day. Muhahahahahahaha!" Lagon destroyed the head. Lagon: "Gah! We failed. Pyron: "No....no we haven't. Ratchet, try to warn all the cities to find shelter. We have to limit as many of the casualties as we can." Ratchet quickly went to work. Gana: "I...I can't believe this." We looked out and saw the streames of missile smoke. Pyron: "Blast that Buraki." Voice: "...e..o...any.....o....ere." Ratchet: "Come on....come on...yes." Voice: "Hello, is anyone out there? This is Kaiser." Pyron and Gana: "Kaiser!" We ran to the radio. Kaiser: "Well well, My friends Pyron and Gana. Good to here from ya." Gana: "Kaiser, your ok." Kaiser: "Yeah. I broke out of Buraki's prison island camp. Bulco's here as well as Kyle." Pyron: "Their alive!" Kaiser: "Yep, but we saw 20 missiles heading to the Southernlands. A few major cities are there, mostly non-dragon cities." Lagon: "Curse that Buraki." Kaiser: "So tell us Pyron and Gana, what's going on?" As we listen to more and more radio messages, I looked at Gana and smiled. On that day, Gana and I took our part of the prophecy and became the new appointed leaders of the resistance. Lagon went back to being a soldier, and after the strike, a lot of lives were lost. It seems our fight with Buraki had just begun...

Crisis Part 2: Changing of the Guard

Great. The Dark Dracos are planning another of their raids. Tyranis is taking us to a village that's trying to get back on its feet, but that overgrown wyvern wants us to raid it. Tyranis was my dad's rival. My dad was a Dark Draco, but he was saved by my mom who was a light dragon and part of the Lightciety: a group of powerful light dragons who were rivals of the Dracos. When my mom and dad fought one another they crash landed on an island. Both of them had their wings broken so if they wanted to survive, they either kill the other of work together.
they took option B. One day mom got into trouble and dad help save her from a giant bulb spider. When she ask why he helped her, he couldn't say. mom knew why, because dad fell for her. I do miss my mom, dad, and twin sister Luna. Hmm...might as well explain the next event...

A few weeks passed and Angel was up and about. She played with Spirit as Gana, her mom Flora, and I took a stroll in the city. People were still scared of me. I can't blame them. After the incident in Ewok Village it's understandable. We splited up for the time being. Rachet: "Confound it!" That's Rachet. He's a mole who loves to make things out of junk. Pyron: "What is it now Rachet?" Rachet: "I'm trying to make a radio box. Once completed my other mole friends will connect their radioes." Pyron: "Ratchet, it'll never work." Ratchet: "Gaaa! You kids today...and your suppose to be one part of our new leaders..." Pyron: "Whatever Rat....what?! Leader?! I can't be a leader. Lagon is the leader." Ratchet: "Gana's mom says they'll be a change." I groaned.

I found Gana and her mom. I confronted her about the leader role. Pyron: "What?! Gana and me?!" Flora: "That's right. You 2 will be the new leaders." Pyron: "No way Flora. Lagon is the leader." I left. Gana: "Pyron..." Flora: "Your husband seems to be mad these days." Gana: "Yeah. (Pauses) What?! Husband?!" Flora: "Yes. Pyron will marry you. I forseen it." Gana: "But mom...Pyron and me...we...we never discussed marriage, and we're too young to get married." Flora: "I know, but an event will take place...and after that Pyron will ask for your claw in marriage." Gana: "Pyron and me...dragon and dragoness..." She smiled.

I came across Lagon who just came back from his late wife's grave. It has been a year since that tragedy. Pyron: "Lagon, what's this I hear you turning over your leadership role?" Lagon: "Huh? Oh, it's you Pyron. Yes, I'll be turning in my leader role to you and Gana." Pyron: "And why would you do that? We're not leadership material!" Lagon-"Look, flora predicted it, so there's no way I can stop that." I got mad, and then the sensation came. I then heard a familiar voice. It was my counterpart Dark Pyron. DP: "That's right Pyron. Get angry. The more anger you put out, the stronger we become. And soon, we'll be one." Pyron: "Shut up!"Suddenly we hear Rachet. Rachet: "Everyone, come quick to the square. It's an emergency!" My anger subsides and we went to the square.

Everyone was there. Nera: "So why are we hear Ratchet?" Ratchet: "I was trying to get the radio working when it picked up a weird signal. Listen.: So we listened. Voice 1: "So we're set?" Voice 2:: "Yes sure. The Draconic virus is ready." Voice: "Once the virus is distributed, the missile will destroy Ember. Muhahahahaha!" The signal dies. People began to panic. Lagon: "Calm down everyone. We still got time to stop the missile. And when it's done, Pyron and Gana will be your new co-leaders." People started to squabble, but they made it clear, most of them, that they don't want me as a leader. Lagon: "Look everyone, we don't have the-" Pyron: "No Lagon. I will not take over. your the leader." Lagon: "No, you 2 are." I grew mad. Pyron: "That's it, I'm challenging you. If I win, I won't be a leader." Lagon: (Hesitated) "Fine. But if I win, You and Gana are the new leaders." I will show Lagon I won't be the leader. But none of us would be expecting what will happen next. To be continued...

Crisis Part 1: The disease

Things have not gone well for the resistance...more so for me. I looked at my scales. They we're as black as coal. My underbelly was red, and my horns remain white as my spinal plates were red. Why is this? It's because my dark powers have comsumed me...sort of. My dark half merged with me finally, but the events that transpired lead me to this. I'm in a cave with other black dragons. They range from westerners like me to wyverns. I had joined the Dark Dracos. The leader, Tyranis, was powerful. I'm second to him, but he took me in. This war against Buraki brought about lots of tragedies. His machines growing more powerful by the day. And the resistance lost one-half of it's key leaders-me. Before this goes any further, I should tell you how I came to this, 5 years ago...

Gana had recently celebrated her birthday. It was a time of rejoice for her. She once again change her appearance, and was looking more beautiful. I made the mistake of asking how many more times will she change? She took a bit of offense to that...so I thought, and she gave me a big kiss on the cheek. Ewok Village was fully repaired and we returned home to Ember. The next morning, something terrible happened. Gana: "Pyron, wake up! It's Angel." Pyron: "Huh? What's wrong?" Gana: "Angel...she's sick." I got up. Pyron: "We better take her to the doctor." So we did. He was a human, but researched dragon physiology. He gave us the news. Doctor: "Your daughter contracted a very dangerous disease to dragons. She needs the roots from the Finlap Herb or elsee she'll die." Gana: "But...Finlap pdoesn't grow in these parts. But they grow beside Ganron....but it's very far away...: Pyron: "I'll go and get it." Gana: "Wait Pyron, you can't..." Pyron: ''I know my dark power made me into that creature, but I got it under control. I'll fly to Ganron and get the her." Gana: "Be careful Pyron. I don't want to loose you..." She hugs me and I fly off.

Time was of the essense as I flew as fast as I could. Finally I made it to Ganron.....or what's left of it. The small town was decstroyed. All the inhabitants....dead. They were innocent. Why did Buraki kill them? I grew angry, more so than usual. A black aura began to build up in me. I felt a strange sensation. Something about i made me....want more. Suddenly I spot a pink fern. It was the Fimlap. I dugged it up, got it, and flew back to Ember. I didn't pay any attention to that weird sensation, for it went away.

I got back and the doctor brewed it. We gave it to Angel to drink. She spat it out, but we told her it'll help you. Sometimes the best medicine taste the awfuless. Finally she drank all of it and went back to sleep. Doctor: "The disease will leave her within a few days. You two can relax now." Gaana: "I don't think I can. How did she get sick?" Doctor: "She had the Draconic Cirus. a deadly disease for you dragons. Those who get it have an 80 percent chance of not surviving if no medicine is administered to them within 16 hours when the firsr symptoms appear." Gana: "My baby...but how did she get sick? We were together when..." She paused. Pyron: "Gana, is something wrong?" Gana: "Buraki! I bet my scaly hide he got our daughter sick. He knows she's the only one with the power to ultimately destroy him." Pyron: "So if your saying he gave her the virus, then...aren't every dragon infected with it?" Doctor: "Doubt it. The Draconic Virus isn't contagious, but this is very alarming. How did that mechanical beast get the virus?" That was the question wasn't it. My anger grew again, and that sensation came back. What's with getting mad make me want...more?

In Buraki's fortress in the now Scorchedlands, formerly the Dead Zone...Buraki: "Heehee. So it worked?" Agent: "Yes my lord. Unfortunately the fiery lizard Pyron found a Finlap fern. His daughter will survive." Buraki: "Oh, I didn't plan to kill her by the virus. I figured Pyron and Gana's tenacity to save their daughter will prove useful. It means what that human gave me truly worked." Ageent: "But master, didn't that guy seems...different to you?" Buraki: "...It's none of my concern. This realm will see the end of the dragon race today. Especially with this...my missile. With the Draconic Virus in it, all the dragon races will perish. Muhahahahahaha!" As for the mystery man....he met up with a few humans, a cheetah, tiger, bear, and mole. MM: "The vile worked. Soon we'll make the dragons pay foor all this. Let's report back to Laiken. He'll be please to hear this." Who is this mystery band? To be continued...

The story so far...

Hi. If you've kept up with my story of Pyron: Dragon of Fire, then you'll enjoy Pyron: Rise of the Slayers. Our main characters are still Pyron, Gana, Lagon, Flame, Nera, and Spirit. Buraki hasn't been defeated yet, but soon a new threat will rise up against the resistance. These include the vampire-like Tragoi, deadly mermaids, and two promising threats: the Dark Dracos and the Dragon Slayers. More will be reveal as the story goes. But I will reveal one thing....this story will take place 5 years from the ending of my last one, and Pyron's...well, I won't say. Enjoy.
